Preferred Vendor Spotlight: Vermont Home Watch

Vermont Home WatchVermont Home Watch was created after discovering that Vermont was the only state in New England without an accredited and certified Home Watch service. When you consider all of the vacation/second homes in Vermont that are unoccupied periodically throughout the year, Vermont Home Watch felt this was a need that they could address. There are also many snowbirds that winter in Florida, leaving their home unoccupied for six months.

A lot can happen to a home when it is unoccupied, and discovering these issues quickly can be the difference between a fix or expensive, extensive damage. Finding someone trustworthy to properly care for your home when you’re away can be a challenge. This is what they solve.

Vermont Home Watch visits your home weekly to do a visual inspection, emails you a detailed report, and helps resolve any issues. Their standard inspection includes 35 features that they check inside and outside the home, including water damage, vandalism, rodent infestation, frozen pipes, bringing packages inside, etc. Vermont Home Watch helps to make sure that when you arrive home, it's in the same condition as you left it.

Vermont Home Watch is licensed, bonded, insured, certified, and is an accredited member of the National Home Watch Association, which means that they've been vetted, background-checked and follow the industry's best practices.
