At the annual meeting, Steven Foster, President of the Lamoille Area Board of Realtors® (LABOR), outlined all of the accomplishments the 2022 Executive Board and Committees have achieved this year:
- Continue to have a balanced budget and are building reserves for the first time in a few years
- Hosted a fun Affiliate/New Member event at the Stowe Bowl last spring
- Hosted a Legislative Forum in January with our local representatives
- Completed a $5,000 Housing Opportunity Grant with proven results in Hyde Park taking action to change their by-laws
- Obtained a $5,000 Fair Housing Grant supporting Lamoille Housing Partnership Summit this year
- Participated in the Habitat for Humanity Build
- Hosted the Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament raising substantial funds for Lamoille Community House again this year
Steven said that “none of this could be accomplished without the dedication of our Executive Board and Committees ... Thank you!”
Steven and Leslie Rollins, past president and chair of the golf tournament committee, also presented Nicole Chauvin, shelter manager of the Lamoille Community House, with the check for the $7,500 raised at the LABOR charity golf tournament and auction.
