The Vermont Real Estate Commission requires all real estate agents to provide a Vermont Consumer Information Disclosure to prospective purchasers and sellers. This disclosure outlines agency relationships and consumer choices regarding representation. Before sharing any confidential information, you will be asked to confirm and acknowledge that you have received and understand this disclosure. The Disclosure form is not a contract.
What does that mean for you?
The properties that Hickey Foster Real Estate sends to you or discusses with you are listed properties with Hickey Foster Real Estate or another real estate office using the Multiple Listing Service. Unless you and a real estate agent enter into an “Exclusive Right to Represent Buyer Agreement,” the agent will represent the seller in any transaction and the seller will compensate the agent/Hickey Foster Real Estate at the closing. Hickey Foster Real Estate provides Buyer Brokerage and Non-Designated Agency Brokerage if you are interested.
If you have any questions about the Vermont Consumer Information Disclosure and the above agent-client relationships, then please contact us.
